If you read the ones on either side, one of the two deceased Composer Brothers will appear (who kinda look like Mario and Luigi). Head to the complete opposite side of the graveyard and you’ll find three large graves. Their easily defeated, but its easier to simply avoid them. At night, ghosts called Poes will appear. Graveyard – This place is rainy and mysterious during the day, with a kid walking around slowly with a stick attempting to imitate Dampe, the grave keeper. That being said, continue on through this area to the Graveyard (exit on the far right side of the village). Which happens every 5 minutes or so.Kakariko Village – There’s tons of stuff we can accomplish in this town and the surrounding areas, but a lot of them are dependent on the time of day. And if that wasn't annoying enough you constantly have to manage your inventory because the size is a massive joke - especially since you can't stay focused on anything.Īs it stands - the game needs a major rebalancing for the technology points as well as ways to increase health and stamina without making it a potion fest.Īnd it needs to reconsider how annoying it is to not be able to focus on one thing at a time which forces you to manage your inventory every time you do something else. Most of the time you won't even be able to grind as you need to run across that huge map back and forth.

On top of that you get flimsy guidance and confusing quest tasks - so without a wiki you are simply not able to play the game. There's not a single thing you can focus on in this game as in order to progress in anything, you have to do something else instead.Īnd all of it falls flat because you simply can't focus on anything. It's not even about it being grindy, it's about the blatant attempt to make the game long winded to the point of it being boring, unless you actually want to beat it. Though the core would be interesting and good with a lot of stuff to do and a clever storyline, it drowns itself in artifical barriers that keep you from progressing all game long. I'd rate this to be the worst executed game of all time.

You will be disappointed if you are looking for a **** Valley alternative here. I would ignore the reviews that compare the two. While both goods games they offer different experiences. Graveyard Keeper was more of a cemetery management, dilemma type of game that does revolve around similar features of crafting, farming and harvesting. The core of **** Valley is community based and was more of a life sim or farm sim type of game.

TLDR, I would highly recommend the game if you like heavy grinding and casual time waster.Īside from that, I wouldn't compare it to **** Valley. The Graphics and soundtrack are pretty epic. I had no issues with the game itself and felt it was a great game that offers a lot in terms of content.

The game early on does have a lot of walking to an from locations but over all you can bypass most issues with transportation stones. The game requires patience, repetition and can be considered a casual game as there is no rush to complete your tasks. I put in around 90+ hours to complete the story at my own leisure and took it in as a great time waster. Graveyard Keeper offers more **** experience that revolves around dilemmas that need to be solved and cemetery management.
